Similar to our sculpture commissions, we have produced work in both the public and private sector, presenting to either selection committees, architects, general contractors or individual private clientele. Our architectural landscape sculptures are primarily focused on relating to the spatial dynamics of a space, whether it’s a garden, plaza, or lobby. Due to our firm being heavily trained in both sculpture and architecture, we have a procedure which is totally unique to Kason Group Inc. We initiate a series of diagrammatical studies which document the site. We may also generate a scaled model which would further describe the context 3 dimensionally. After we have reached a thorough understanding of the site, we then propose our sculptural scheme(s).At this time, we may also follow through with a full size mockup in situ. All this is an attempt to help generate a sculpture that is truly responsive to a particular architectural landscape.
